Hobson's Choice

For our 2005 spring production, Playgoers  chose one of theatre's perennial favourites.

Victorian boot and shoe retailer, Henry Horatio Hobson, is a tyrannical father defied and outmanoeuvred by his feisty eldest daughter, Maggie.  A strong-willed and domineering young woman, Maggie is helped by her unlikely consort, slow-thinking cobbler Willy Mossop.

This famous comedy has many unforgettable characters and is deservedly loved around the world.
